Meet Our Founder

Kyra C. Pappas, MSN, RN, is the founder of CultureRx Consulting. Raised in Indiana, she grew up immersed in the values of teamwork and resilience, playing competitive basketball through college at Indiana Wesleyan University. Her early experiences on the court shaped her commitment to discipline, collaboration, and leadership, qualities that continue to guide her work today.

Kyra’s career began with community engagement and youth development in Indianapolis, Indiana. She later pursued nursing education and expanded her impact in higher education as Director of Multicultural Services and Student Leadership. In this role, she designed educational programming that fostered environments where students from diverse backgrounds could learn, grow, and thrive, while learning to develop and sustain positive social change around them. During this time, she also worked with several schools of nursing, developing curriculum and teaching.

For more than a decade, Kyra has lived in Portland, Oregon, working in higher education, public health, and as a nurse educator. Her career weaves together expertise in healthcare, education, and organizational leadership. Her master’s degree in Nursing Education continues to shape her values-based, human-centered work at the intersection of healthcare, education, and organizational leadership.

Through CultureRx, she helps teams cultivate environments where people feel they belong, are valued for who they are and what they bring, and experience safety in every interaction. Her work integrates psychological safety, ethics, and leadership development to create workshops and resources that help teams move with purpose, build with integrity, and care with impact. These offerings strengthen relationships and improve systems, processes, and everyday practices. Kyra’s wide-ranging experience allows her to partner with organizations across sectors, including healthcare, education, sports, spiritual communities, and beyond.
